If this is your first time downloading with Web Connect for this account, a dialog box will appear stating 'You are about to download transactions for the following account.' The box will include account information, such as the Account Number and Account Type.A Windows dialog may appear that asks whether you would like to Save or Open the file.For information on supported and retired versions of software, please refer to our software retirement guide.

Then follow the directions below based on your software type. Click Download Account Activity and complete the required information.Choose an account for which you would like to receive transaction activity.

This technology automatically launches Quicken, downloads account data into your check register, and matches any transaction you’ve already entered into your register. Note: Once the accounts are configured, your Quicken 2007 or higher software will automatically retrieve your most recent transactions for each account.Wells Fargo is using a technology called Web Connect.

If you have more than 6 Vanguard accounts to download, follow the steps above again for your next set of accounts.

Confirm that the accounts are set up correctly, and click Done.

(You'll see your first six accounts.) If you don't wish to download a specific account, mark it as “Do not use this account in Quicken.”

Either select an existing Quicken investment account or choose Add a new Quicken account and choose a name for each Vanguard account that displays.

Quicken will connect to and get your account information.

Enter your user name and password as your Quicken client ID and PIN.

Choose Online as the method to set up those accounts.

Indicate that the account is held at Vanguard Group.

Select the File menu in Quicken, then New, then New Quicken Account.

If you're using another version, see your Quicken software's Help files for specific instructions. The instructions below are for Quicken 2007. Subsequent downloads will only include new transactions.

On your first download, Quicken will download the last 18 months' worth of transactions.
